Langside is located at the end of the High Street in Kingussie, ensuring that it is well-placed for walking to all local amenities, but distanced enough to be peaceful and relaxing.
The 100-year old stone cottage has been completely renovated and decorated to a high standard throughout. You will be surprised by the space available as you walk from the cosy sitting room into the spacious and well-equipped kitchen and dining room. The kitchen has the following equipment:
- hob and fan oven
- microwave oven
- fridge and freezer
- dishwasher
- washing machine
- tumble dryer
- Nespresso coffee machine
The sitting room at Langside has freeview tv and a DVD player. There is a small collection of novels, local-interest books and leaflets, cookery books and DVDs for use during your stay. The cottage also has free Wi-Fi internet available throughout.
Langside has 2 double bedrooms upstairs, and the option to also use a double futon in the sitting room downstairs. Each bedroom has an i-Pod/MP3 dock and hair dryer. The spacious bathroom is downstairs and boasts a double shower, separate bath, and toilet, with a further toilet and hand basin upstairs.
Our aim is for your stay at Langside to be comfortable, enjoyable and memorable. We provide a hearty Scottish welcome pack on your arrival, as well as having coffee, tea and sugar always available in the cottage. To provide that extra feeling of comfort and luxury, we also provide plush towelling dressing gowns for use during your stay.
The garden at Langside offers panoramic roof-top views over Kingussie to the River Spey and the Cairngorm Mountains beyond. The garden is built on a steep glacial slope with 30 steps expertly built into a spectacular Scottish dry dyke stone wall. At the top of the steps is a terrace from which you can enjoy the scenic beauty, and perhaps a quiet drink at the end of a long day.
Langside is a strictly NO SMOKING house, but can accommodate up to 2 pets.
